I broke a rule today.
I’m to have at least 4 tracks, and today I have 3. I just couldn’t spend a lot of time on it today. I started to write some lyrics, but I decided to wait to put a vocal down.

Lazy, day-on-the-porch, kind of feel today. Let me know what you think!
New to my Music Challenge? Here are the rules.
I recorded this last night as I’ll be out most of the day today. I decided to get the old slide out. I think I need to do that more often.
No effects were used in this song an, except for the claps, all sounds were created on the guitar. It’s messy in part by design, and because it was done, start to finish, in 53 minutes. I don’t go into these challenges prepared. I just start the timer and see what happens. :0)
I started with one idea, and it turned into something else and I’m not too fond of the result. I really tried to force things to get finished in time. Trying to fit everything, mixing, writing, editing, finding sounds, etc. in an hour is not fun. I’m reminded, again, that I need to simplify to be done in an hour. Like that song I wrote a couple days ago for Bekah.
There’s some potential here, but, as I listen to my hour’s work, some of the electronic sounds I used bug me. I thought it might lead to something, but I should have let the song be more organic like it was in the intro. Oh, well. Some days are better than others.
