I’ve been hooked on podcasts for about a year now.
I just can’t get over all the information available for free that I can take in while I’m running, driving, etc.
It’s really easy to get started. Here’s how:

As musicians, it’s important to keep our chops up. A great way to do that is to play with other musicians. The problem is we can’t always make that happen.
For those situations, backing tracks are great.
I found a free source at guitarbackingtrack.com. They have over 10,000 tracks to choose from. From B.B. King to Clapton, you’ll find the style you want. They have tons of popular songs to play to.
Some of the tracks aren’t very well done, but, most work well enough to practice that Joe Satriani lick you’ve just learned!
