Recently, I had the pleasure of playing with Mike Farris of Screamin Cheetah Wheelies fame. Mike has a powerful, soulful voice that wonderfully compliments his style of old spirituals intertwined with Texas Blues. But, what was most inspirational for me was not just his music (which was a blast to play), but his positive attitude during the struggles we faced over that weekend.

I recently had the opportunity to play guitar for a worthy cause.
A good friend of mine, Roger Ryan, is an accomplished producer who resides in Nashville. He recently donated his time to produce a song to help the family of veteran Tyson Nick who served for 24 years and was killed just before Christmas 2012.
Please consider helping this family in their time of need. The song “Young” is available on iTunes. All proceeds go to help Tyson’s wife and three children.
